Tracy Garstka: Maumelle, Arkansas, United States; Thank you for visiting my blogsite. It has been a long 14 months but I have finally been properly diagnosed thanks to my wonderful physician. Although 14 months is a long time, I still feel fortunate because so many people go years and years before getting diagnosed; And unfortunately, many never get diagnosed at all! The longer someone has Lyme Disease which is not properly treated, the worse the organism invades their body affecting every body system and organ. And, for many. the disease results in complete debilitation and sometimes death. I feel compelled to share my story so that others may benefit in some small way and so that my friends and family can have a better understanding of the battle that I am facing. I DO feel confident that I will beat this disease and return to the lifestyle of good health and fitness that I have always enjoyed. I have learned to never take my health for granted and to never settle for anything other than what's best for me and my well-being.
